The group of companies "Global Container Service" (GCS) successfully works in the Russian container market since 1995. Having established then the first in Southern Russian container line and liner agency Forcon, today it counts among the top 10 leaders of the industry in Russia and CIS with the annual throughput of almost 200 000 TEU.

The GCS belongs to one of the largest Russian transport holdings "Delo" and since 2006 manages its container assets and services. Presently the group consists of 7 companies in various fields of container shipping, like agency, logistics, terminal etc., active in all the major container ports and provinces of Russia, as well as neighboring CIS countries and overseas.

In the nearest future the group plans to further expand its existing and the new companies and facilities, together with the volume of transport services rendered in Russia and abroad. The key spheres of the GCS activity encompass corporate management, strategic planning and development of enterprises and facilities, belonging to our group. Our utmost priority is introduction of the most advanced technologies and techniques of container shipping and handling in Russia, constant improvement of services in the interests of our customers, partners and shareholders.

Strategic target of the GCS is to triple the volume of revenue and double amount of containers served in the coming 5 years. That will be achieved through consolidation of our vertically-integrated systems for seamless delivery of containers to any destination of Russia and world-wide.  In embracing that challenge we firmly rely on our more than 600 staff and close partnerships with the leading Russian and international transport companies. 

Based on knowledge and success accumulated over the 14 years of our history, we constantly put forward strong efforts to open up new horizons of international trade and container shipping in Russia, by laying the bridges of product flows and global co-operation between people, companies and countries.
